This organ dates back to before World War II when it was deconstructed and hidden in pieces from the Nazis and then reconstructed afterward in Holland . This intricate mechanical organ was originally designed to play in a carousel, but was converted to a street organ. The interior and inner workings of the organ are visible. The organ uses program books that, when inserted into a player, direct special pipes, constructed to resemble the sounds of flutes, drums, violins and even cymbals, to play at a specific time. http://www.myspace.com/violantadutchstreetorgan

Free admission, Free Music. The whole day! The Violanta Street Organ, hosted by Johanna Van Der Heijden, was originally constructed by the Limonaire Brothers in Paris , France .

My apologies go out to Bob Lanza – he has had a new CD out, and I completely forgot to include it here. I HATE when I do that! Anyway, here are the particulars: the CD is called “Things Ain’t So Bad”, and it ain’t!!! It’s available on CD baby, or go to http://www.myspace.com/boblanzabluesband.
So if you’re wanting to support local artists, go to the bottom of this email and BUY THE CDs LISTED THERE! They are cheap at twice the price, and the music rocks. Support your local musicians.
I NEED MORE FANS ON REVERBNATION!! If you haven’t done so already, please go to www.reverbnation.com/jamodrummer and sign up as a fan.
Hey- if anyone out there knows someone who graduated from Dunellen High School in 1970, there’s a reunion being planned. Go to http://forums.delphiforums.com/dhs2001?msg=359.10 (If this doesn’t work, just send me an email). I’m sure that 1969 and 1971 will be welcome too.
There are quite a few of us who have recently released CDs, so I’ve put together a playlist for you at the end of this email. Please check out the music, and support the musicians.
If you have any trouble reading this thing, just go to http://jamogigcentral.blogspot.com/, and it will all be there. Marisa Chiara does that for me, and I really appreciate her help. If you meet her at one of our gigs, be sure to say Hi…
Send me your April gigs so’s I can blab about them. Spring and summer gigs are popping up here and there already.

If you know anyone who might like to receive this email every week, send me their email address.
