Question of the year: I’m doing a survey of Band pay. I have some data, but I need more to draw any conclusions. I don’t think that anyone has done this before..SO, if you have the courage to be truthful, send me the figures that you have experienced – what do the clubs pay in your area? BE TRUTHFUL!!! Don’t give me your name or your band’s name or even the name of the club if you don’t want to –I will NOT pass any of that on. I WILL give you the results here in a future mailing – no names of clubs or of bands, but some geographic areas if I get enough responses. It’s all up to you!! Here’s what I need: 1) Pay (More for four pieces? Five? Etc.) 2) Town 3) Reliability (Did the owner stiff you? Offer less at the end of the night?) 4) Any comments that you have that are educational; don’t just complain, give me real experience. Thanks, and SEND ME THE DATA! You’ll be glad you did.

Every Wednesday KC's Korner located at 100 Oak Tree Ave in South Plainfield NJ presents LNO Unplugged. Each week Lenny D will be performing with a guest acoustic artist. Every week LNO Unplugged will venture into new waters depending on who is sittin in with Lenny.
11/10 Lenny will be performing with Swamp Eddy for a night of classic tunes from the 60s to the 90s
Lenny said....."I'm really excited about the change at LNO...As a musician it's a challenge for me and as a listener you'll be floored at the talent that will cross that stage....Every week something different....It's gonna be a trip" ... LNO Unplugged also will be introducing the first "Men's Night" in the area with $2.50 bottles of Budweiser, Bud Lite and Miller Lite ..Also.. $2.00 pints of Rolling Rock and shot specials every week ....It's about time we got a "Men's Night" .... First set is at 8:30pm and Lenny will take it till Midnight every Wednesday.

Tuesday nights in November: Local blues rocking guitarist Todd Wolfe and bass playing partner, Rob Fraser bring an open blues 'n rock jam to Larry Holmes Ringside, from 8 to 11pm! Todd had run the infamous Wednesday night blues jam at The Bluetone Cafe until it's closing several years ago and moved the jam to Pearly Baker's until management's decision to discontinue the jam. It seems the jam was more suited to The Bluetone where blues and blues based music was more at home. Since that time Todd has been looking for the right place to host this style of jam and Larry Holmes Ringside might be just the place, so starting November 16th, Todd and bass playing friend Rob Fraser will bring their open blues 'n rock jam Ringside!

A message from Lenny Depiano:
“OK, so some of you have been asking us about the LNO change...here it is..... After almost 5 years at KCs Korner LNO is closing the curtain. The open jam as we've known it is changing gears. Starting November 3rd LNO Open Mic becomes Acoustic LNO featuring Lenny D and a guest acoustic performer each week. This will no longer be an open jam night. It will be more of an intimate evening with Lenny and friends. It's still called Lenny's Night Out but we're just putting off the open jam part till we find a new home for it.
LNO has been looking for a new home for the open jam for a while now. KCs was great and still is but the open jam was getting a bit played out at that venue....Like in all aspects of life ... Change is good ..... Like we said Lenny will still be performing at KCs on Wednesday nights from 8 till 12 ... This time we will be having drink specials all night and different players every week so as not to burn out on the same sets each week .. Every week will be a different adventure. A different sound .... From classic rock to cool blues to rock n roll.... Lenny says "Its going to be a lot fun .. I'm really looking forward to working with all the different musicians" " I'll miss the open jam of course but it'll be back before ya know it.....In a new room and a new area"
There will be more about it coming at you in a week or so ... We'll have a line up of musicians and guests to announce.
